Dean's Craft talk
Dean at Age 3
At our last meeting on Nov 17, Dean focused on the the first half of his life and revealed many personal details few members knew about.
We were dark on Thanksgiving.
OUr community open house saturday
Next Saturday, Dec 3, is Los Olivos Olde Fashioned Christmas. Keeping with our tradition we will again be serving free hot chocolate and cookies to all who attend. Susan will have a sign up list on Thursday.
The club will furnish the hot chocolate. All members are asked to bring two or three dozen cookies. The event runs from about 4-7pm with some volunteers needs for set up and clean up before and after.
Announcements
The meeting next week, 12/8, will be a club assembly. President John would like input from all the members about increasing the cash available for running the club. Among the options to be discussed will be raising dues or adding another fund raiser for the club (not charity). Other ideas are also welcome. Be sure to come and make your desires known.
$26.50 Challenge. The club has met the challenge to send $26.50 to the Rotary Found- ation for every member of the club. If you pledged $26.50 and have not yet paid, bring a check made out to Los Olivos Rotary Club Foundation to the next meeting or mail it to PO Box 903, Los Olivos CA 93441.
Square Dancing will soon be a weekly thing at the Grange with a well-known caller. See President John for details.
